Take the Whitewater Plunge – July 21-22 & July 28-29; Cost: $125 [Canoe and Kayak]
Experience the thrill of whitewater in this two-weekend class that will introduce you to Class II whitewater. The class, for kayak or open canoe (tandem or solo), focuses on safety, paddling strokes and maneuvers, proper equipment and is a springboard to whitewater action. This class features three-mid-week classroom sessions, plus two on-the-water, weekends. Cost is $125, plus boat rental if needed.Lead canoe instructor is Arlene Schnorbus, lead kayak instructor is Lynn Rasmussen
